“Pripek” Asphalt plant

Asphalt plant Pripek is located between Varna and Shumen, 7 km north of the highway "Hemus". The plant was built near the village of Pripek. On the premises of the asphalt plant Pripek there is an asphalt mixer, brand ‘WIBAU’ with a capacity of 160 tons / hour with which the company fully covers its needs for sites in the District of Varna. In 2013, an improvement of the asphalt mixer was made by a German manufacturer.

Asphalt base Pripek produces the following bituminous mixtures:

  • Type “A0” Bituminous Mixture for Base Courses with Maximum Aggregate Size of 31.5 mm and Bitumen Grade 50/70
  • Bituminous Mixture for Binder Courses with Maximum Aggregate Size of 16 mm and Bitumen Grade 50/70
  • Bituminous Mixture for Binder Courses with Maximum Aggregate Size of 16 mm and PMB 25/55-55
  • Type “A” Bituminous Mixture for Surface Courses with Maximum Aggregate Size of 12.5 mm and Bitumen Grade 50/70
  • Type “A” Bituminous Mixture for Surface Courses with Maximum Aggregate Size of 12.5 mm and PMB 25/55-55
  • Type “A” Bituminous Mixture for Surface Courses with Maximum Aggregate Size of 12.5 mm and PMB 45/80-65
