 “Kralevo” Quarry is located on the northern slopes of the Preslav Mountain. The deposit contains Early Cretaceous sediments of re-crystallized gray to beige limestone with dolomitic inclusions in well-formed strata. The blasted rock is processed by use a crushing and sieving plants. The modern mobile METSO crushing and sieving plant allows for production of course and fine aggregates with a capacity of about 5,000 tons/day. The quarry produces unsorted (shot) rock and a wide variety of aggregate sizes, which are suitable for all standard road base courses, asphalt courses and concrete mixes. 

“Hitrino” Quarry is located some 22 km northwest of Shumen, not far from the village of Hitrino. The deposit contains organogenic limestones, which are blasted and processed by use of 3 mobile crushers and two stationary sieving plants. 

The crushers’ production capacity is as follows:  

The crushing and sieving plants are used to ensure production of course and fine aggregates with a total capacity of about 5,500 tons/day. The quarry is provided with excavation and loading equipment and transport vehicles. The aggregate sizes are suitable for road bases with light to normal load bearing capacity, as well as for asphalt and concrete mixes of lower class & grade. 

The quarry is located on the southwest slope of “Shiloto” hill, between “Varli Bryag” Quarry and the village of Cherni Vrah, District of Burgas, close to the “Gorno Ezerovo” Residential Area at some 3 km away from Burgas. 

The deposit contains Late Cretaceous and Paleocene plutonic igneous rocks of andesite-basalt type, which are very dense and feature gray-green to black colour, massive texture and slight to moderate porphyritic structure. The aggregates produced in this quarry are suitable for all types of asphalt and/or concrete mixes. The blasted rock is processed by using 3 crushers and 3 sieving systems. The average production capacity is 5,000 tons/day.  

An asphalt plant is located within the quarry site. It is type ECO 2000 manufactured by BENNINGHOVEN – Germany. The asphalt plant is entirely CNG operated and has a rated capacity of 180 tons/h. 

“Karovcha” Quarry is located some 5 km northwest of the town of Devnya (25 km west of Varna and 2 km north of “Hemus” Motorway. The quarry has been in use since 1967. Its operation is based on a concession agreement signed in 2001.  

The deposit contains granular and porcelain-like limestones, which are processed by using a crushing and sieving plant. The quarry is provided with excavation and loading equipment and transport vehicles. 

The aggregate sizes are suitable for road bases with light to normal load bearing capacity, as well as for asphalt and concrete mixes of lower class & grade.
